Monday is done with....

...and what a Monday it has been. Actually, like any other Monday. As all Monday's this too was all about, catching up  with all the tasks, that you leave behind in your office on Friday !  On Friday, you never ever feel like working, 'cos you are in weekend mood, looking forward to 2 days (in some cases, 1 day) off.

..hence the work always get carried forward to Monday !..Amazingly, this is the case for most of us, sane people across the globe in all sectors. But, there are few, who love to reach office on Monday and love doing the job they do !

So, what did I do today? I researched away to glory about a place, I am planning to spend my weekend in two week's time. I learnt and seen so many snaps, that I guess, I have seen all that the place has to offer, sitting at my desk !

and I did some work toooo....and at the end of it all chatted away to glory with 2 of my good friends, away from where I am !!

India, the soft target

I am no politician, to play the blame game, but I am just a normal citizen, who is just putting his thoughts here on the blog, irrespective of whether any one on this online spectrum reads it !!

Why cant we have a great intelligence network ? with all that knowledge and engineers that we have, why cant we have a system in place to tackle the entire mess?

Why cant we have stricter laws to punish the culprits? Why cant we raise on the higher morale ground and execute the terrorists that we catch hold off ? Why do we have to listen to the Human Rights commission, when they have no explanation of the ordinary life's being taken away from the loved ones ??

Why cant all states come together and all intelligence in this country with awesomely qualified officers and avert these series of blasts ? Is it so easy, to conduct a series of blasts in two of the most important cities of the nation ?

More importantly, are we gonna forget about it in a month's time ?...till another city is rocked ??

...Cricket and more Blasts !

.....wow, what a fantastic loss to the Lankans. Indian team, does not believe in doing anything in smaller scale nowadays, even in defeat !!...

I think the guys concentrated more on Mendis, than on Murali, and ended up giving wickets to both..super !!

Gary Kirsten, must be cursing his stars, and Parthiv Patel, must be celebrating. Parthik is a better player than Dinesh Karthik, but dunno why is neglected !!

I have no problem with losing, but I have a major problem in the way we are losing, give it a fight at least guys !!

...as I write this one, news of another blasts in Ahmedabad is trickling in...I guess its time for this nation to go on offensive, against these criminals !...till then we continue to lose life :(

Blasts....Series of them !

...this time in Bangalore. Well, I guess "they" have covered all major cities in India now !!

Life has become so unpredictable, some poor lady died in these blast, just because she was standing @ a bus stop !!..unfortunate. No Power in major cities, No diesel/petrol for cars, generators and if that was not enough, there are blasts !!

Anyone who is trying to spread terror in the hearts of common people are terrorists, internal or external, and should be punished...if caught that is. I dont remember anyone arrested for the Jaipur bomb blasts. Problem is "we" forget about it, only those who lose their near and dear ones remember the unfortunate ones everyday !

On a lighter note, I guess inflation has hit "them" as well. The blasts were, thankfully, of low intensity !!

I wonder, if this is going to go on for ever.....is it safe to stay anywhere in this Country..or hold on...in this World ??

Cliff Richard

...got introduced to Cliff Richard's music today, courtesy a very good friend. Interesting nice soothing music

The first song I heard was http://youtube.com/watch?v=lZ1sZXCieVw and then continued to listen to few more. Surprisingly, I hadn't heard of Cliff before and hence did a Wiki search...I like to use Wiki a lot.

I liked what I read about him and more importantly appreciate his music..but I guess he was not very success full in the US, hence the not very popular ?

Rest the day was good. For me the last official working day for the week. I am again on a 3 days weekend, my second one in consecutive weeks !!...Reason: Hmm..I am busy learning new things...which might help me professionally !!...Lets keep it at that !

Back..for good !

...and being so regular, I am back at what I call my passion, but find it difficult to follow (I guess, I should do a re-think!) - BLOGGING!

As I wind up today’s day in office, I want to finish off this comeback blog! …else, I fear will never ever will be able to write ..Today’s day was not any different than others. Some work, some play (cricket) but no Gym ..which is the only thing different !

I just happened to read Big B’s blog today and I must say it is impressive. The 1st thing that strikes you is the big smart picture of AB! Better than other pictures of his. Though, I am not really interested as in what he is up to in his everyday life, I went through his last few blogs, and I like what he wrote about Politics (in films or otherwise) and other causes.

He has used his father’s poems, quotes often, which perhaps are his effective way of communication now! ..and of course he is as humble as ever.

...and yesterday was another eventful day, in Indian politics and hence in mine as well, as I do follow politics pretty closely. It was an action packed day and finally ended on expected note. I will not be surprised, if BJP actually wanted the UPA to win, to keep Mayawati out of the PM post. I am glad that, thankfully, that is not the case for the time being at least. I somehow, can’t comprehend Mayawati as the PM of this nation….for some reason!...I probably don’t want to see statues of Mayawati and her mentor Kanshi Ram across India.

Neither do I want to see, Mayawati and Barack Obama, discussing future of Indo-US relationship, apart from the obvious height difference ;)
